Christmas for Congo @ Pasadera Country Club, Monterey, California

Christmas for Congo was held at the Pasadera Country Club on December 10th 2009. The event was a tremendous success for the Mwamba Family Foundation and the academy project. Many local and national supporters came and supported the cause and vision.
The Mwamba Family Foundation would like to thank all those who participated and donated to our cause. Thank you to Butch Lindley who part on a successful live auction. Thank you to our guest speakers including Gerard Warren, Al Wilson, Ellen Taft Reinebold, Shin Koyamada, Nia Lyte, Coach Andre Patterson, and Coach Larry Souza. Thank you to Frank Knappe hosting our event as the master of ceremonies.

The Fight For Five NFL Charity Golf Event @ Pasadera Country Club, Monterey, California.

A charity golf event benefiting the Mwamba Family Foundation included 15 NFL players from all over the United States. It was held at a premier Jack Nicklaus golf course in beautiful Monterey, California. The event included golf, luncheon, and a live auction with sports memorabilia and items from the Congo. A cocktail party ensued after the golf event at the home of Jeff Davi, California’s Real Estate Commissioner.
The Mwamba Family Foundation would like to thank all of our NFL supporters including:

Athletes for Africa @ Opus Hotel in Montreal, Canada

Athletes for Africa was a fundraising event that took place in Montreal, Canada. The cocktail party included NFL players from the United States as well as CFL players from Canada. The event also included live entertainment, and VIP guest Miss Canada attended in support of the Mwamba Family Foundation.

Fight For Five Brussels @ Warwick Barsey Hotel in Brussels, Belgium

Fight For Five Brussels took place at the Warwick Barsey Hotel in Brussels, Belgium. The event included a partnership with GFAIA, and included a cocktail event as well as a gala. Special guests included well known singer/rapper and producer Kaysha, and musical artist Tony Sad.
