Guy-Alain Emmanuel Gauze, Ambassador to the U.N.

His Excellency Mr. Guy-Alain E. Gauze is Ambassador of the Ivory Coast in Geneva, Switzerland, and Ambassador Extraordinaire and Plenipotentiary of Ivory Coast at the United Nations (UN). He is also the permanent Representative of Ivory Coast for the World Organization of Commerce (OMC) in Geneva. His Excellency was a special Advisor to the President of Ivory Coast. Ambassador Gauze is the Minister of Promotion for the Development of Foreign Trade. His Excellency Mr. Gauze remains President of the sub-committee of sustainable development of the ACP States "Africa, Carribean, and Pacific". The ACP States are the countries that are signatories of the Lomé Convention. He was also the Executive Director of the International Cocoa Organization for fifteen years. Ambassador Gauze is a close friend of the Mwamba's and has been involved in numerous charitable organizations throughout the world. The Mwamba Family Foundation is privileged to have His Excellency Mr. Guy-Alain Emmanuel Gauze as their formal spokesman.

Moïse Katumbi Chapwe, Governor of the Katanga Province, DRC

Moïse Katumbi Chapwe was elected governor of the Katanga Province in February 2007. He has brought positive change to the province, which has been felt throughout the rest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Born to a country that has through history been ravaged by war and competing interests for its vast wealth, Katumbi has a solid reputation for being outspoken and honest, a rare quality amongst many African leaders.
He has given his support to the Mwamba Family Foundation, and looks forward to the completion of the Mwamba Sports and Education Academy in Lubumbashi.

Mutombo Bakafwa Nsenda

Mutombo Bakafwa Nsenda is a politician of Congo-Kinshasa. He was the governor of the province of Kasai-Occidental in the Democratic Republic of the Congo since October 2006 until February 2007. Since the end of November, he was the Minister of Justice and Human Rights until October of 2008. He is currently the Vice Prime Minister of the DRC. The Minister has had long and rich experience in the management of businesses of the State. Minister Nsenda belongs to the Congolese political inheritance. As a shining lawyer established in the 70's along with the chief of the province of Western Kasaï, Minister Nsenda has illustrated himself in the defense of weak. He was rewarded by a mandate for deputy elect in the town of Kananga. He has also been the head of the ministry for the mines. Manifestly known for his generosity, Minister Nsenda has contributed to repairing the roof of the teaching Institute of Kananga, and has also offered a generator of 10 kVA to the Institute. Minister Nsenda is a friend of the Mwamba family, and is very happy to work with the Mwamba Family Foundation. He loves the country of Congo and is actively involved in improving the lives of those around him.

 

David Mutamba Dibwe, Honorable Senator of DRC

David Mutamba Dibwe is an Honorable Senator of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He also was The former CEO of SNELL (an electric company of Congo). Before being in the political world, Honorable Senator David Mutamba Dibwe, worked in the mining area in Congo. Because of his knowledge and great experience, Senator Dibwe occupied stations of high responsibility for the mining company Gécamine. Senator Dibwe holds a strong belief in the importance of education, and would like to see the literacy rate in the DR of Congo increase. Honorable Mutamba Dibwe is a friend of the Mwamba family, and is looking forward to lending his services and support to the cause of the Mwamba Family Foundation.

Alexis Thambwe Mwamba , Minister of Foreign Relations, DRC

Mr. Alexis Thambwe Mwamba is the former Minister of Finance and Planning for the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is currently the Minister of Foreign Relations of the DRC. He is a close friend of the Mwamba family. Mr.THAMBWE- Mwamba has represented his country during ministerial conferences for the launch of a 2006 Humanitarian Action Plan for the country. It focused on the areas of food security, health, reintegration, protection, HIV/AIDS, coordination, education, water and sanitation, shelter, mine action and gender. Mr. THAMBWE-Mwamba has lended his support to the Mwamba Family Foundation, and believes strongly in the foundation's cause and vision.

Mr. Felicien Muleba Mutoka is the former General Manager of the Commercial Bank of Zaïre, now known as the Commercial Bank of the Congo. Mr. Mutoka is currently the CEO of the Le Marinel Hotel in Kinshasa. He and the Le Marinel Hotel have hosted many human rights organizations from all over the world who have had discussions about the conditions of the Congo and how to make improvements. Mr. Mutoka has been involved in many charity organizations throughout the Congo. Mr. Mutoka is a close family friend, and has lended his full support to the Mwamba Family Foundation.

Joseph Mukania Kabwe, Principal Advisor of Finance to President of DRC

Joseph Mukania Kabwe has a degree in finances and economics, and works in various organizations throughout Congo as well as Africa. He represents the Congo to international institutions such as the World Bank. Mr. Mukania is a key piece of the economy of the Congo, and is held in great value due to his financial and economic status. He understands the value of a healthy and stable economy, and has been involved in various projects that are helping to grow a healthy economy. He is committed to the cause and vision of the Mwamba Family Foundation, and has offered his full support.

Kimbembe Mazunga, Principal Advisor to President of DRC

Kimbembe Mazunga is a Civil Engineer in Mechanis and has been working at "Office des routes" since 1986; he was the governor of the city-province of Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He previously served as principal counselor to the Chief of State in charge of Infrastructures, as well as Minister of Public Works, Regional Planning, Urbanism and Habitat during the Transitional Government. He currently serves as the Principal Advisor to President Kabila, and is committed to the President's vision of change in the Congo. He is supportive of the Mwamba Family Foundation's cause and vision and has lended his full support.

 

Vika di Panzu, GM of SNELL (national electric co. in DRC)

Vika di Panzu is the GM of SNELL which is the national electric company in the Congo. He was the former CEO of SNELL. Mr. Panzu understands the importance of advancing the technology in Congo, and has worked to advance these possibilities. Without electricity there is no evolution of society. The local communities and the entire country have no hope of evolution without these advancements and Mr. Panzu is actively involved in providing these possibilities. He has lended his full support to the Mwamba Family Foundation and the foundation is looking forward to advancing together with Mr. Panzu.

Make Mwangu Famba, Minister of Education in DRC

Minister Make Mwangu Famba is the Minister of Education for the DRC. He has been actively involved in the bettering and furtherance of education in the Congo. Minister Famba understands the vital importance of education, and has focused on the youth of the nation. At this time the Congo has found many venues for opportunities that can only be productive to the people if they have an education. The Minister has offered his full support to the Mwamba Family Foundation and believes strongly in its cause and vision.

Thérèsa Olenga Kalonda, Minister of Education for the Province of Kinshasa

Mrs. Thérèsa Olenga Kalonda is the Minister of Education for the Province of Kinshasa. She has a tremedous vision for Kinshasa as well as the entire country. She works avidly for better quality of education and has improved the lives of those around her. The Mwamba Family Foundation is proud to have her support, and has been inspired by her focused determination to provide a better education for the people of Kinshasa.

Puati Ngoma, Minister of Health and Social Affairs for the Province of Kinshasa

Mr. Puati Ngoma is the Minster of Health and Social Affairs for the Province of Kinshasa in the DRC. As Minister of Health he understands the value of a healthy community and the importance of providing accessible health care to the people of Kinshasa. He is working consistantly to provide this care, and has made great strides in improving this access. As the Minister of Social Affairs he is seeking to improve the economics of Kinshasa so that the people may be able to get jobs that will provide for them and their families. Although it is an upward battle he has forged many victories. He has lended his full support to the Mwamba Family Foundation, and has stated his full intent on working together with the foundation to improve the lives of those in his community.

Raphaël Musampa Nseya

Raphaël Musampa Nseya is a Rector Of Université Libre Of Mbuji Mayi and a professor at the official University of Mbuji Mayi in Kasaï Oriental, which is the hometown to the Mwamba family. His son, Kiki Musampa is a famous soccer player in the European League. Mr. Musampa is a representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Congo. Mr. Musmpa has been personally involved in human rights, and holds strongs beliefs in the human right to freedom and education. He has also participated in many charities with the Catholic Church, and has contributed to many in education in Kasaï Oriental. Mr. Musampa is a close friend to the Mwamba family and has lended his support to the Mwamba Family Foundation.

Louis Lisafili Booto, CEO of Sofide

Louis Lisafili Booto is the CEO of Sofide which is a Financial Society of Development (Branch of World Bank). Mr. Booto has been involved in many charities throughout Africa, and has been working closely with financial institutions to better improve the lives of African citizens. Mr. Booto believes strongly in the importance of education, and fully supports the Mwamba Family Foundations cause to help to educate the children in the Congo.

Richard Kebeya, General Manager of the Commercial Bank of Congo
Richard Kebeya is the current General Manager of the Commercial Bank of Congo. Mr. Kebeya has helped in funding schools in remote areas throughout Congo such as Bukavu and Kasaï. He has also helped with food relief throughout the country. Mr. Kebeya has focused on remote areas in the Congo that are often forgotten, and has provided health clinics where needed. Health has been Mr. Kebeya's interest, and he has seen the opportunity to raise awareness about the health condition in the remote areas in Congo through the Mwamba Family Foundation. He has lended his full support to the Mwamba Family Foundation's cause and vision.
Kanku Gode is an advisor to the Minister of Finance. Mr. Gode is a very close friend to the Mwamba family. He is excited to be a part of the Mwamba Family Foundation, and recognizes the opportunity to make changes in the Congo and in Africa through such organizations. Mr. Gode is an advisor to the Mwamba Family Foundation, and is greatly knowledgeable about the vast number of needs througout the Congo. He has pledged his full support and advice to the Mwamba Family Foundation.

Eric Adams, New York State Senator, 20th Senate District

On November 7, 2006, following a distinguished 22-year career in the New York City Police Department, Eric L. Adams traded his blue uniform for a blue suit when the residents of the 20th Senatorial District elected him to the New York State Senate. He was re-elected in 2008, receiving votes as a Democrat and as a member of the Working Families Party. Senator Adams represents one of the most vibrant and wonderfully diverse districts in all of New York, covering sections of the neighborhoods of Boro Park, Crown Heights, Flatbush, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Sunset Park, and Windsor Terrace.
